Each day's hunting starts with a traditional prayer to honour St Hubert , the guns stand in a line to be addressed by the head-keeper before the horn sounds again as the sign for the party to leave for the day. At the end the day the game is presented in a square of conifer branches in order of importance and saluted by all to the sound of the hunting horn. This tradition is centuries old and provides an unbeatable atmospheric flavour to the day.
